The Peugeot 205 GTi voted best "hot hatch" of all time
Accustomed nostalgic tributes for a long time, the Peugeot 205 GTi has yet to be welcomed after the Autosport International exhibition Birmingham. The legendary sports tricolor was released ahead of a panel of 50 "hot hatches" pre-selected by a jury of British journalists (Bus & Pistonheads) and submitted to a public vote.It is more specifically the version 1.6 (105 hp at the beginning of his career in 1984, 115 in 1986, when she was joined by the 130 bhp 1.9) which was crowned 'best' hot hatch 'of all the temperature" . The French bombinate has more merit that it overrides before monsters like the Lancia Delta HF Integrale and Ford Escort RS Cosworth, both directly derived from rally cars. The Mk1 Golf GTi (1976), considered the mother of all "hot hatches" finishes off the podium.
Cocorico, Renault is also very well represented in the top 10. Like the Peugeot, sporting Billancourt small left fond memories on the other side of the Channel, in particular the Clio Williams (1994), fifth, the Clio RS 182 Trophy (2005), sixth, and R5 GT Turbo (1985), eighth.
