Opel GT2: With lagged birth year

We continue to look for traces of the past of Opel, with which we find the connecting links of the upcoming GT Concept to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

After the Opel Experimental GT 1965 recently presented we approach the more modern history of the acronym GT. The calendar indicates the year 1975 and the map shows us that we are at the show in Frankfurt. Once again, Opel makes surprise showing the original GT2. Its shape was very futuristic for the time data, while the wedge shape and the coupe line were commented.

Opel is through the GT2 attempted to satisfy the current until today need at that time for greater efficiency and reduce fuel consumption, while increasing the requirements of public safety and comfort. The Opel GT2 fulfilled all conditions, primarily thanks to aerodynamic silhouette.
