Thus, after the John Cooper Works launched last summer, the Mini Cabrio variant reveals that the city becomes discoverable most powerful and efficient market. I must say that in this segment, convertibles are not very numerous. Concerning style, this John Cooper Works Cabrio takes the body kit of the closed version and can develop for the first time (optional) a "Mini Yours' hood on which the union jack is woven. Note that the top is now fully electric and can open and close in 18 seconds, at a speed of 30 km / h max. The interior boasts an exclusive course presentation, with specific seat John Cooper Works have a saddlery dynamica / Carbon Black color fabric. This convertible offers course still four seats while the boot capacity Forgot 215-160 liters with the roof open.

The used engine remains the "big" 2.0 turbos, offering 231 hp and 320 Nm as the closed variant. The performances are very good level, with a 0 to 100 km / h in 6.6 s shot with the manual six-speed gearbox. Note that this time down to 6.5 s when the optional Steptronic transmission is chosen. The combined cycle fuel consumption is announced at 6.5 l / 100 km for CO2 emissions of 152 g / km (5.9 l / 100 km and 138 g / km with the Steptronic gearbox).
