Volvo 480 ES: Celebrating 30th anniversary



The unique aesthetics Swedish model celebrates 30 years since its official premiere held at Motor Show 1986, Geneva.

The ES 480 was the first Volvo model with front-wheel drive and the engine mounted transversely. Responsible for the design was the Karo Seri Stas Dutchman John De Vries, while among the technologies that had stood the digital trip computer, who informed the driver of average consumption, average speed and temperature.
