SEAT: Rising compact SUV

On the occasion of the upcoming presentation of its new compact SUV's mid-year, SEAT is investigating the causes that have led to rapid growth in that category.

According to the Spanish company, therefore, the current needs of man are those that shape trends in the automotive industry. Today the public has increased demands in the field of security and connectivity. Similarly, the special compact SUV boom is due, among other things, that can meet the needs for premises of an entire family, while inconvenient, because of their compact dimensions, within the town but offering the possibility for comfortable travel.

The Aranci Alonso, who works in the marketing department of SEAT, believes that the new off-road model will bring sales growth while stating that the buyer of a compact SUV asks safety, contemporary design, versatility and spaciousness. In fact, it is estimated that almost by 2020 the new compact SUV will rise 25% while in Western Europe this category will surpass 1,550,000 units.
