Donkervoort announced three new products for 2016

The Dutch craftsman, specialist firecrackers on four wheels, announces for 2016 the arrival of three new models derived from the D8 GTO.

Currently, the range consists Donkervoort D8 GTO and a special series Blister Berg Edition to celebrate the record set on the eponymous circuit. These cars take over the well-known recipe bodybuildée replica of the legendary Lotus Seven and display an output of 380 hp, always drawn from the five-cylinder 2.5 turbos Audi, for a limited weight to 695 kg. 0 - 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds when sprayed. If these figures already give dizzy, the Batavian firm announced in 2016 the arrival of three new models, some of which should provide increased efficiency yet.

The first variation of the D8 GTO will be the S. Although very close to the GTO, it will put a little more emphasis on comfort. Available from February, it will be sold 115 173 euros before tax. Next will come in June GTO-RS, which billed as the "ultimate GTO". No details are provided at the moment, apart from the fact that it "will be completely redeveloped, both in terms of design that technically". We can, therefore, expect a rising power and, in view of the sketch provided, aerodynamic yet refined. The car seems even broader effect and stocky as the GTO. Rates start at 151 173 euros before tax for this self-limited to 40 copies.
Finally, come in autumn 2016 GTO-R. It should be a priori very close to the RS but will, for the first time in the history of the brand, dedicated exclusively to the track. Prices will start this time to 251 173 euros before tax.
