Skoda Octavia: Awarded for success in the German market
The Skoda Octavia is especially popular in the German market, was voted best-imported model in the compact class for the third consecutive years.
So, according to the poll organized for the 40th year, the magazine auto motor and sport, the audience presented the awards "Best Cars 2016", choosing among 364 different models, nominated in 11 categories. The Octavia received 18.1% of the vote beating the tough competition in its class.
In 2015, the Czech company that is under the "umbrella" of the Group Volkswagen, recorded 430,000 sales of the Octavia at the global level and of them, 58,000 are made in Germany. So the Octavia in the German market is the sixth most popular models and the first of the cars imported into the country. The success of this help and the rich range of a total of 13 publications, the Octavia RS 4X4 being the latest addition last November.
