Ateca, the first SUV Seat

Its name is inspired by a near Zaragoza (Spain) people and is based on the MQB platform Volkswagen. It'll be bestowed at the Geneva Motor Show.

Ibiza, Leon, Arosa, names of towns or cities in Spain that had already been used by Seat. Now is Ateca, as it is called a town 100 kilometers from Zaragoza. It is a compact SUV that uses the Volkswagen MQB modular platform, the same as using various models of Skoda, Audi, Volkswagen and even Seat, and share parts with the Tiguan. It measures 4.36 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.63 meters and the trunk offers 510 liters of capacity.
